Common questions
How long do metal braces take?
It depends entirely on the case. Dr. Cochran gives you a realistic estimate for your bite at the free consultation, not a generic range from a brochure.
Do braces hurt?
Teeth feel tender for a few days after they are placed and for a day or so after each adjustment. Over-the-counter pain relief and soft food handle it. Day-to-day, they should not hurt.
Can I still play sports?

Can adults get metal braces?
Absolutely, and many do because it is the most cost-effective route. If visibility matters, look at clear braces or lingual braces.
