Why a custom guard matters when you are in braces
A stock mouthguard is moulded to a generic arch. Brackets change the shape of your teeth, so a generic guard fits badly, gets chewed, and often gets left in the bag.
We make athletic mouthguards fitted to your mouth as it actually is, with braces on, and we do not charge our patients for them.
If a guard stops fitting because treatment has moved your teeth, tell us at your next visit.

Is it really free?
Yes, for patients in treatment with us. Ask for one at any appointment.
Which sports need one?
Anything with contact or a fast-moving ball or stick. Football, basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, martial arts, skateboarding.
My teeth are moving. Will it still fit?
It may need replacing during treatment as your teeth change position. Tell us and we will remake it.
