A Bit More About Dr. Devin Cochran

One of our greatest fulfillments as a family is time spent giving back to the community through programs and projects close to our hearts. My wife, Eileen, and I actively support SAMM Ministries, Christian Assistance Ministries (CAM), animal rescue and adoption, and the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County. Since returning to San Antonio, we have supported numerous charities and events serving on Boards or event committees and donated time with clients. Lifelong rewards have been through ACTS Missions and mentoring students from elementary through high school, and into adulthood. As a member of The San Antonio District Dental Society, I mentor dental students in their Freshman and Sophomore years.

I attended The University of Texas at Austin as an undergraduate and graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. After practicing general dentistry for 7 years, I made the decision to pursue my true passion and returned to school, this time at The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston to specialize in orthodontics. In addition to obtaining my post-doctoral certificate specializing in orthodontics, I wrote my Master’s thesis on bonding orthodontic brackets to porcelain, awarding me a Master’s of Science degree.

What a great experience. From the 1st day to our last we have been given the best service and have been educated to maintain a great smile. The staff has been amazing and really welcomes you as family. Dr. Cochran addressed all of our questions thru the entire process. We absolutely love Dr Cochran and staff at Cochran orthodontics and we highly recommend them to all of our friends and family! They are super helpful and very detailed about services they provide so you can make an educated decision regarding your child’s dental care. My son hates having any dental work done normally because of past experiences that were painful procedures from incompetent dentists but Cochran’s dental office made him feel safe and secure and reassured him by talking him through every step of the process as they put spacers in, attached his braces and then taught him how to care for his teeth and braces after they were put on. He knows he’s in good hands and is no longer fearing his appointments for his ortho work. That gives me and my son peace of mind. 😊

My daughter just got braces yesterday and she is writing this review: I had a great experience. The dental assistant was so nice and made me feel comfortable. She let me know what to expect.
And as the parent I want to add that the office staff is wonderful to work with. The pricing is reasonable. They did not pressure or try to add more expenses. Dr. Cochran made us all feel at ease.

Journey Back

My son got his braces put on yesterday. Our experiences with Cochran Orthodontics have been great so far! The customer service is outstanding from the front desk, to Dr. Cochran, to Patrice, and especially Ashley! Ashley tried to make sure my son was comfortable as possible.
